Here at SHP Automation, we have started to take some steps to reduce our carbon footprint.

– We are in the process of migrating all our hard copy documents and technical manuals to 100% recycled paper.

– We are currently reviewing our suppliers and will no longer accept packaging with foam pellets—any deliveries using them will be refused and returned.

– Unless necessary to attend in person, the team will attend meetings and events online.

– Since SHP specialises in automation, all our buildings are automated. Therefore, only when someone is the premises, the lights turn on, and the water heating and cooling systems will turn on, as necessary.

– On large spinning/motor equipment, we have installed variable speed drives to better manage the speed at which these units operate to further reduce energy wastage.

We are hoping that these small, gradual changes make a BIG impact
